I installed it per instructions..just as I did mine. However, mine works fantastic, and my mates crashes him back to the desktop as soon as he loads a mission..any mission style, single or MP.

When he runs the game again without the -mod=hisky parameter it works as it normally does, and plays the same mission from before.

Any thoughts on this, as I am a bit perplexed? We (well, I do the work) do our best to keep our addons in sync, but the mod didnt say it required anything else.

I run the Gold Edition w/ Resistance addon @ 1.91.
My mate runs the GOTY (Game of the Year) version @ 1.91 also.

We both run the totally awesome DynamicRange (I highly recommend it!!) sound mod.

Of course I'm better looking than he is, that could be IT.. lolol

If you need any other info/specs just let me know.

Peace,

Most common problem is that install.bat in hisky pack does not work properly with Win9x.

Someone posted working install.bat for win9x at official flashpoint forum.

I'm running XP Home Edition, my mate is running XP Professional, mine works fine. Another mate has installed it now, and he gets a few missing file errors on startup, but he says his sky is changed...so I'm still stumped...

I'm wondering if his .pbo's were somehow corrupted..I may try to send him the completed extracted .pbo's...see if it helps..

My friends sky is now working. I backed up his original files and copied the new sky over into his res folder..worked great.
Maybe GOTY version doesnt like the -mod=hisky parameter?
