Hmm that sounds strange. I´m 99,9 % sure that it don´t have anything to do with this pack. In the SoundLDDK config there is no mention of such weapons. Sounds more like dynamic range issue. damn these dancing bananas are funky

Well i tried that missions couple of times myself and i don´t get such an error. So i think the problem is in something else than this sound pack.

When I used SoundLDDK 1.0, There is sometimes a message when I start campaign or multiplay like this;
" Cannot load addon, missing addon: soundlddk"

Then I got to know that SoundLDDK1.1 fix this bug and to be sure there is no such kind of bug in 1.1.

What is the difference between 1.0 and 1.1? I want to know what causes that message.

I believe it has something to do with the installation location of the pack (ofp\addons / ofp\res\addons). Res\addons works fine for me..

i was wondering, why does it show up as an "addon" and act like an addon too in a mission???

my freind gets the erroe "cannont load misison, missing addons: soundlddk

why? its not an "addon" is it?

And it is an addon and works like an addon, because if it would replace flashpoint's original sounds by Overwriting them, it would result in a modified file message and you could be accused of cheating with the soundranges or something like that.

Actually it doesn´t work like addon, meaning that everyone doesn´t need it in mp and you can´t choose it in editor or anything like that. It´s an optional addon.

First, thanks for a great sound pack!

However, I received the modified config file message (\res\dta\sound.pbo) when connecting to the FragHaus server recently.

Strange, I haven't seen the modified config message on any other servers. FragHaus just recently "added a check for cheats". Most of the other players connecting there with 1.91 clients did not get any messages about modified configs.

I reckon they check the integrity of the sound.pbo file. Has the README been outdated with versions 1.90 and 1.91 providing new features to compare config files?

FAQ
---

Q: Do i get modified config message in MP if i use this pack?

A: No, this doesn´t modify your main config and therefore you can play in MP with clear conscience.

Any clues?

Your propably misread it, I would guess it said "modifide datafile" or something similar (not config anyway). This happens if the server admin has added the sound.pbo to their checkfile list, which is imo. kinda pointless.

I currently use the Dynamic Range sound enhancement. Does this sound pack work in conjunction with it or is it a replacement for it?
Thanks!
